I chose this song “My Special Angel” by Bobby Vinton because she was my special Angel.
Constance (Connie) Mary O’Neill was born on April 23rd, 1948 to Lawrence Joseph O’Neill and Veronica Catherine Keane in Waterbury, CT. She would be the third of three children. Her older sister Bernadette (Bon) Veronica O’Neill was born on 21st, November 1941 and her brother Lawrence (Larry) Joseph O’Neill Jr. (but most people called him Buddy.
She had 3 uncles and 3 aunts on her father’s side of the family and 3 aunts on her mother’s side of the family.
Connie’s Parents
Lawrence Joseph O’Neill and Veronica Catherine Keane were married on 26 Oct 1940 at “Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church”. It was a double wedding with her sister Agnes and Johnny getting married at the same ceremony. These two couples would remain best friends forever.
As you can guess Connie was Irish and vry proud of her heritage.
The Early Years

It is less than 5 minutes but i did make a few clips from it. it was so hard seeing how she was as a child as it made me miss her so much more,

Connie’s First Communion
Connie’s parents Larry and Veronica were devout Catholics and I think that is why I have more pictures of this event than any other event in Connie’s life except wedding pictures. She was very proud of her parents for bringing her up in the Catholic faith.
