This page consists of poems that I have shared in my emails when announcing a new addition to the blog. Most of them will be from the updates I sentout but a few will be from the website itself. will be a few from the website itself. I am not sure when I started sending a poem with each new addition to the blog, but I will pick out some that are most relevant to me, and over the next few months I will be adding them.
The first poem I chose to share here is the first one I place on the website. It was called “Speak Their Name” . To this day, it still touches my heart eveytime I read it. It still means the world to me, when someone bring up memeories of Connie as it makes my heart jump with joy.

The second poem also comes from the opening page of the blog “Why Am I”. I am here to tell our story, to share the love that we had. It does not matter how many new people I meet, if they know me they know Connie as I always share memories of her. She was part of me and always will be. I am the remeberer.
Arms of Angels
The poem for the 50th edition of the blog published 0n May 1, 2021 was the “Arms of Angels” by John F. Connors. I made a couple of minor word changes to express my feelings more accurately. The picture I chose to go behind the words is of Cochem Germany, where Connie and I first met. You can see the castle where I proposed in the background. This is a recent picture of the Mosel River flooding. To me, the flooding is representative of re-birth, the hope for the future, and the ability to continue without the love of my life being present, but she is always with me in spirit. The flood water will recede, but her spirit will see me through the tough times.
